Programs

Open Access Clinic

The Open Access Clinic is the entry point for all behavioral health services provided through the Youth and Family Services Program.

Families access mental health services via the Open Access Clinic at the Youth Outpatient site which occurs twice a week. The contact number is (530) 822-7513 or Email. This clinic provides a basic triage to determine if children are likely to meet medical necessity criteria for specialty mental health services and, or, Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT).

Please refer to this document for further information about the Open Access Clinic.

It is preferred that caregivers NOT bring children to the Open Access Clinic, as this is an opportunity for the caregiver to explain concerns about the child’s emotional and behavioral health needs. Please make sure to bring the child’s insurance card, your identification, and proof of your legal ability to consent to mental health treatment for the child.
